Super Nature

Stunning flora and fauna designed help you create an oasis of calm from these stormy times. From butterfly to bee, tulips to tigers, treasures of the natural world become glorious artworks, bringing the beauty of nature indoors, to stunning effect.

Hydrangea

Fine grapes take their qualities from the soil and environment, as do hydrangea's. And they reward us with a stunning variety of colours in their big, beautiful blooms. Alkaline soil produces blues and lilacs, more acidic ground gives us warm lilacs and hot pinks. The colours also change throughout the life of the flower, from lime greens as the buds open to autumnal colours as it nears its end. They can also be dried and used to decorate. They really are an amazing and versatile bloom! This colourway is called Woodcote, see also my other seasons.

Peony Dream (Angel)

Peonies are certainly beautiful enough to tempt the gods. They earned their name from Greek mythology. The stories vary, but in my favourite, a nymph named Paeonia, caught the eye of Apollo, so a jealous Aphrodite turned the nymph into a flower. In China and Japan, peonies mean ‘king of flowers’. And are used in big, important holidays like Chinese New Year and other important traditions. They are also known to symbolise wealth. This is because for a really long time they were available only to only Emperors. In Japan, they are used as a symbol of bravery, honour and good fortune. For me personally they symbolise beauty, kindness and love

Bloom

Timeless and sophisticated, the white peony has a chic, minimalist appeal. White peonies blush with subtle shades of pink and pearl. An elegant blossom that captures attention for the romantic beauty it bestows while filling any room with a subtle angelic scent. Symbolic of enduring beauty, the white peony is unmatched in its understated luxury. They naturally fall beautifully into bouquets, make great additions to windowsill arrangements in summery settings, and add a lovely contrasting touch to simple interiors.

Maypole, Topiary & Trellis

Hand drawn country roses designs. See my Co-ordinating florals in the Eternal Classics Collection. Inspired by Traditional English Maypole dancing, these roses are reminiscent of the ones growing on the trellis in my grandmothers' cottage garden on the edge of Dartmoor. Bordering with neighbour Mr Satterly, who also grew beautiful flowers, his pride and joy. Influenced by our verdant countryside and classic English style, I stroll down memory lane, enjoying the precious moments of family long past. I can't help but find joy in what they treasured. Years never spoil the beauty of things made with love.
